Your Home Club!
At Homestead Key Club, members are provided with opportunities to make positive impacts in their community, develop leadership skills, and build character.
Club meetings will be take place on Thursdays at the start of lunch in room B105.

DISTRICT + REGION
The Key Club organization is international, with large parts centered in the United States. There are a total of 33 districts in the United States and Canada, and each district has a governor who is elected by delegates each term.
We are located in the California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) district, and part of Region 17, an informal level composed of divisions.
DIVISION
Within Region 17, we are part of Division 34 South, with our mascot being the Purple Penguin (making our main colors purple and white!).
Each district has a lieutenant governor, a student leader who carries out the district's policies and provides support to the clubs.
Our division is made up of clubs from ten different schools: Menlo-Atherton, Palo Alto, Gunn, Los Altos, Mountain View, Lynbrook, Monta Vista, Cupertino, Fremont, and Homestead.

PREFERRED CHARITIES
Kiwanis loves working with and helping raise money for charities.
Kiwanis collaborates with UNICEF to help with 'The Eliminate Project'. 'The Eliminate Project' is dedicated to eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (MNT) by providing vaccines to women to protect her and her future child. We at Key Club focus on spreading awareness and fundraising in order to fund immunization. Some examples include Eliminate Week and UNICEF Trick or Treat.
Another charity we have worked with is called 'Pediatric Trauma Program' (PTP). The Pediatric Trauma Program was established by the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation in 1944 after recognizing the serious need for education and training in pediatric trauma and injury prevention. We focus on raising awareness about PTP and through this we are able to fundraise to purchase much needed pediatric equipment.
